Dallas Cowboys Injury Update
Right guard, Zack Martin had an MRI on his knee that resulted in no significant injury. Martin hyperextended his knee during the second quarter at AT&T Stadium. The Cowboys already had a close call with center Travis Frederick leaving the field during week 1 after a few stingers, but thankfully his only needed medication is rest. The second highest paid guard in the league will most likely be ready for the season opener against the Carolina Panthers. Fans can exhale once again. Safety Xavier Woods also left the field with a hamstring injury and the Cowboys are still uncertain of the severity of the injury. Jerry Jones has remarked that the injury happened to the same hamstring he injured during his rookie season last year in 2017. The Cowboys are thinner at safety with Byron Jones moving to corner and acquiring CB’s Kam Kelly and Charvarius Ward through free agency.

There are two more preseason games left to be played and the Cowboys are praying to escape without further damage to the lineup on both sides of the football.
