According to the Mother Nature Network, the world's oldest cheese was recently discovered inside of a broken vessel inside of an ancient Egyptian tomb. The tomb is the Tomb of Ptahmes, who was the mayor of the ancient Egyptian city of Memphis dating back more than 3,200 years ago. Archeologists first uncovered the tomb in 1885, but it sat undisturbed for the next 130 years. It was only recently that scientists discovered the dairy-filled vessel inside the tomb.
