According to Reuters, a Turkish court has rejected an appeal to release an American Christian pastor from house arrest.
Evangelical pastor, Andrew Brunson, has been under house arrest and is standing trial in Turkey over terrorism charges.
The pastor’s case is at the heart of a diplomatic crisis between Turkey and the United States, which has prompted a crash in Turkey’s lira currency.
