Asad Qaisar Journey from Jamat-E-Islami to PTI
Asaid Qaisar recently took oath as the 21st elected
Speaker of National Assembly of Pakistan.
He was born on November 15,1969 in Swabi district of
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
He recieved early education from Government Higher
Secondary School in Swabi, And Graduated from
University of Peshawar.
He is now an owner of expensive network of Private
Schools and Colleges with the name of “Quaid-e-Azam
School and College”.
Qaiser Started his politics as a student by becoming
member of Islami Jamiat Talaba.
He later joined Jamat-e-Islami aftee finishing
education.
He soon elected as president of Tanzeem-e-Pasban, a
youth wing of Jamat-e-Islami.
He joined PTI after its formation in 1996. After
sometime he became president of Swabi division.
In 2002 he contested election but lost. In 2008 he
became KPK President of PTI.
Later, he also became member of Core Committee of
PTI.
In 2013, He won both NA and PK seats . He left NA seat
and became speaker of KPK Assembly.
In 2018 He once again won both NA-18 and PK-44
seats.
He became 21st Speaker of National Assembly of
Pakistan by securing 176 votes by defeating PPP’s Syed
Khurshid Ahmed Shah who secured 146 votes.
