Debate rages as to which is the best touring car championship, the British or the German or even the Italian. Our personal view is that the British championship provides the most competitive racing but that the German championship has more spectacular cars. This year's Alfas were something else with four wheel drive, ABS, the lot and they really dominated the series and with drivers such as Nicola Larinin and Allesandro Nannini its not surprising.
