An incredible challenge, unbelievable speeds, determined racers and exotic machines -- welcome to the astounding Pikes Peak International Hill Climb!

Since 1916 the imposing Colorado mountain has hosted the ultimate motorsport contest, with hundreds of racing heroes testing their skills against the 12.42-miles of climbing road and 156 dramatic turns at speeds topping 100mph. The goal? To reach the 14,110 foot summit in the shortest possible time.

This DVD is packed with action from the 2011 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, with breathtaking aerial and in-car footage putting you at the heart of the 'Race to the Clouds', and fascinating interviews revealing what it takes to reach the top.

The racers are up against each other and the clock, but they must also face the challenge of the course, the bends, the energy-sapping altitude and, of course, the weather. At this height, conditions can, and do, change in minutes.

The 89th running featured 16 classes, including Open Wheel, Time Attack, Vintage Race Car, Super Stock Car, Electric Car and Motorcycle, guaranteeing an amazing array of exciting, unusual and stunning racing machines.

However, all eyes were on the Unlimited Class and whether the 10 minute barrier could be broken. Leading the charge was Japanese Drift and Rally Legend Nobuhiro 'Monster' Tajima in his 91-bhp, twin-turbocharged Suzuki SX4. The outright record holder would face strong competition for victory though, with the likes of Rhys Millen in his purpose-built, 750bhp Hyundai RMR PM580 and Jean-Philippe Dayraut in the Renault-prepared 850bhp Dacia Duster targeting the record speed.

Strap yourself in for the ultimate hill climb as we push the pedal to the floor and prepare for 12 miles of motorsport madness.

Bonus features include in-car footage of Nobuhiro Tajima's record-breaking 9 minutes 51.278 second run, a detailed look back at the 2010 Pikes Peak International Hill climb and a chance to meet leading racer Rhys Millen. We're on INSTAGRAM: http://bit.ly/2evtvsg
