Widows is a heist thriller film directed by Steve McQueen from a screenplay by McQueen and Gillian Flynn, based upon the 1983 ITV series Widows. The film features an ensemble cast including Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Garret Dillahunt, Carrie Coon, Jacki Weaver, Jon Bernthal, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Robert Duvall and Liam Neeson. 20th Century Fox will release the film on November 16, 2018.
