Deepika Padukone to romance Salman Khan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah?
Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone will be reportedly sharing the screen space for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Inshallah.
It’s going to be a casting coup of Sanjay Leela Bhansali as Bollywood’s never-before Jodi will be reportedly featuring in his upcoming film Inshallah. The renowned filmmaker is reuniting with Salman Khan with whom he had worked in films including Khamoshi, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Saawariya. 2020 may mark the reunion of the Bhansali and Dabanng Khan in a film titled Inshallah. The film has already been registered by Bhansali last month.
A Hindustan Times report claims that it may take six to nine months for Bhansali to finish the draft of the film. No official announcement about the film has been made as yet. Another report by The Telegraph claims that Bhansali is keen on casting Deepika Padukone with Salman Khan. Deepika have worked with Bhansali in his last three ventures; Goliyon Ki Raas Leela Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Needless to say, all the three period films fared well at the box office. After Padmaavat proved itself to be a box office hit, Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that he is not done with Ms Padukone yet.
If the reports are true, Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone will be working together in a film for the first time. The duo have never shared the screen space except for the movie promotions that took place on Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss.
Deepika Padukone has not signed any project as yet. In fact, she has kept the last quarter of the year free for her wedding with beau Ranveer Singh. Salman Khan, on the other hand, has been keeping very busy with his upcoming Ali Abbas Zafar film Bharat, which also has Nora Fatehi, Disha Patani, Tabu and Sunil Grover in important roles. Apart from that, he will also be hosting the 12th season of reality show Bigg Boss 12.
