Ann Coulter Suggests Trump Stop Hiring Apprentice Contestants And 'His Kids,' Start Bringing On ‘Smart People’

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter suggested on Tuesday that President Trump stop hiring Apprentice contestants and his children and start bringing on “smart people.”

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter recently suggested that President Trump stop hiring Apprentice contestants and his children and start bringing on "smart people." "On one hand, [Trump] could hire people who are smart, know a lot about politics and supported his agenda, but who he's only known since he adopted that agenda when he first ran for president," Coulter said in an interview on The Howie Carr Show. "Or, he could hire people with no experience in politics because he's known them a long time, because you know, then at least he's going to get loyalty," she continued. Coulter further noted, "You name all the people who would have been so great in this White House and we would have a wall by now. But no, it has to be people from 'The Apprentice' and his kids." Her comments come as the feud between Trump and former Apprentice contestant and one-time White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman intensifies. In her just-released book "Unhinged," Omarosa describes Trump as inept and racist, according to The Hill. Trump has aired his grievances via Twitter, writing on Monday, "Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time…She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok…When Gen. Kelly came on board he told me she was a loser & nothing but problems. I told him to try working it out, if possible, because she only said GREAT things about me - until she got fired!"  He followed that up with the Tuesday morning tweet, "When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn't work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!"
