According to Gizmodo, pets are becoming serious victims of the U.S. Opioid crisis.
In a survey conducted by the University of Colorado, and public health researcher, Liliana Tenney a surprising 13% of veterinarians said that they had encountered a client who appeared to injure their pets, or make them seemed injured in order to obtain opioids.
The survey went on to suggest that Vets may underestimate the risk of opioids ending up in the wrong hands.
