'Dora the Explorer' Film: Director Rumors Cleared Up

Despite previous reports, Comicbook.com says that Michael Bay is not making the new Dora the Explorer movie.
The Transformer series director/producer is slated to work on actioner 6 Underground.
Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures' is behind the new Dora the Explorer movie, opening in theaters on August 2, 2019.
James Bobin will direct Dora alongside producer, Kristin Burr (Disney’s Christopher Robin).
17-year-old Isabela Moner will play the title role of a high school-aged Dora.
