Nuuk Fjord is the largest fjord system in western Greenland, and here you will find the settlement of Kapisillit with a population of 69 inhabitants. Kapisillit means 'the place with salmons' as there is a river where the salmon swim upstream in the fall. There is also an abandoned settlement called Qoornoq in Nuuk Fjord, where some people from Nuuk spend their summer and using the houses as huts.
