Caravan washed down river amid heavy floods in south of France

A caravan was washed downriver after heavy thunderstorms caused flooding in the south of France.
Footage captured yesterday (August 9) on the Cascades du Sautadet, a river near Bagnols-Sur-Cèze, shows the trailer being washed away by the swollen stream.
Thousands of homes are thought to have been damaged and images posted on social media show severe flooding in towns and villages.
The filmer writes: "It took all that was in its path.
"Within a few hours, the water level raised a few meters."
