God's own country is now flooding. Kerala has been hit by worst floods. 26 people have died in unprecedented floods that ravaged Kerala in the past few days. Kerala has been hit by heavy rains with rivers flowing above the danger mark at many dams. According to reports flood gates of 22 dams have also been opened and warnings have been issued in several districts. The famous idukki dam on the periyar river opened its gates after 26 years. NDRF teams & army are continuing their rescue efforts.
