Matthias Goedeking was travelling through Chicago Midway International Airport when he spotted a security dog happily chewing on a dog toy. The dog was taking a well-deserved break from the important job of sniffing for explosives in the area.Chicago police deployed a unit of sniffer dogs in Chicago airports in 2016, as reported by ABC at the time. Chicago police wrote on Twitter that the duties of the dogs include patrols of the area, taking part in luggage searches, as well as generally ensuring the safety of airport passengers.
