According to Deadspin, Ohio State University never contacted Courtney Smith about her ex-husband's abusive behavior.
Smith's attorney stated her client is currently involved with two legal matters regarding her ex-husband Zach Smith, who worked as a football coach at the university.
Those legal matters include a domestic violence civil protection order, and a case of criminal trespassing.
