Holy Fire orders new evacuations as it scorches 4,000 acres in Orange County

Hundreds of Orange County residents were asked to leave their homes on August 7 as the Holy Fire continued to blaze.

According to local media, the fire began yesterday afternoon, erupting in Cleveland National Forest near the Trabuco Canyon area.

Around 600 firefighters and a dozen helicopters conducting water drops were involved in tackling the blaze. Neighboring campgrounds and recreation areas were evacuated and closed off.

The cause of the fire has not been reported.
