Hawaii Braces for Hurricane Hector

Hawaii Braces for Hurricane Hector A tropical storm watch has been issued for Hawaii as Hurricane Hector draws closer. Hector is now a Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of
130 miles per hour. However, reports say Hector will slowly weaken through the next 24 to 48 hours as it approaches Hawaii. Hawaii will begin feeling gusty winds and rain bands from Hector Tuesday night
into Wednesday. Since Hector will be small once it reaches the mainland, not much damage or significant impact
is expected. The National Hurricane Center has still issued a tropical storm watch for Hawaii just in case heavy rain reaches the island.
