Bihar Shelter Horror: SC takes Suo Moto cognisances, pulls up Bihar government

After Nitish Kumar broke his silence over a heinous incident of mass rape that shocked Bihar, Tejaswi Yadav is set to protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi today. Congress President Rahul Gandhi is also set to join the protests. Over 34 girls were abused, beaten and bashed up in a shelter home in Bihar. As many as 10 people have been arrested including main accused Brajesh Thakur. Supreme Court took Suo Moto cognisance in the case and asked the Bihar government and ministry of child and women welfare to file a reply in the case.
