An aide to Melania Trump has left her position in the White House, reports Politico.

Reagan Hedlund, the policy director for Melania Trump, has left her position in the White House.
The first lady's spokesperson, Stephanie Grisham, confirmed the move to CNN, saying, "She is no longer with our office and we wish her our best."
Hedlund had been in the job for six months during which time she helped the first lady with her "Be Best" campaign aimed at helping children.
The 28-year-old reflected on that effort and indicated her future direction in a statement to Politico, stating: "I am very grateful to the first lady for the opportunity to help launch her policy initiative. It was a rare opportunity to contribute at such a high level. It was a difficult decision to leave. However I have decided to return to my roots in the foreign policy world."
Hedlund previously worked as an executive assistant in the National Security Council and as an adviser to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo when he was a U.S. Representative from Kansas.
Observers have pointed out that the announcement means Melania Trump's team, which was already a fraction of what Michelle Obama's was in terms of size, has shrunk even further.
