Molson Coors to Start Making Cannabis-Infused Drinks The cannabis industry is
seemingly on the rise, and many
companies want a piece of the action. Molson Coors Canada
is one such company. Frederic Landtmeters, President and CEO of Molson Coors Canada Earlier this week, Molson Coors Canada announced a joint venture with The Hydropothecary Corporation, where they intend to
produce non-alcoholic,
cannabis-infused drinks. The deal is expected to
close before September 30. Cannabis is scheduled to be legalized in Canada on October 17, though edibles and drinks won't be available to the general public at that time. Molson Coors predicts that cannabis-infused beverages
will be legal by 2019. Beacon Securities analysts,
