Brendan Cole won't miss outgoing Strictly professionals

Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole tells Digital Spy at the National Television Awards that he won't miss all of the pro dancers that left the show at the end of the 2015 series. Three dancers - 2015 winner Aliona Vilani and series veterans Ola Jordan and Kristina Rihanoff announced their departures from the show.

Strictly took home the NTA prize for best talent show.

The National Television Awards took place last night (20th January) at London's O2 Arena. Among the big winners were presenters Ant & Dec who took home their 15th NTA trophy. Downton Abbey took the prize for best drama, with Suranne Jones taking the acting prize. EastEnders was the big soap winner, taking best serial drama and serial drama performance for Danny Dyer, but Coronation Street took one prize, for best newcomer Shane Ward (watch his interview here: ). In the battle between the Saturday night entertainment heavyweights, Strictly Come Dancing came out on top again, taking best talent show from The X Factor, and the BBC made it a clean sweep of the reality TV categories as Great British Bake Off scooped the best challenge show.
