August 2nd's North Karnataka bandh was called off. instead of Bandh organizations staging protest in 13 district of North Karnataka.

ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ವಂಚಿತವಾಗಿರುವ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿ ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್‌ 2ಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಚ್ಛಿಸಿದ್ದ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಬಂದ್ ರದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯನ್ನಷ್ಟೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
