According to a report by Broadcasting & Cable, CBS said it plans to launch new local news streaming services, known as CBSN Local, in markets starting in the fourth quarter with New York, and soon to be followed by Los Angeles. Peter Dunn, president, CBS Television Stations, said, "CBSN Local is the exciting next chapter in how our stations will serve audiences seeking local news on all of the most popular content consumption platforms.
