A resident filmed the River Fire in Lake County, California, before making a mandatory evacuation on July 29.
In the video, the resident can be heard saying, “Those flames don’t look good.”
Cal Fire reported on its website that the River Fire has burned 31,898 acres and is 38 percent contained as of August 1.
