Far-right activists berate media after Tommy Robinson contempt conviction is quashed

Far-right supporters celebrate outside the Royal Courts of Justice in London after a judge ruled to release Tommy Robinson from prison on bail.

Robinson - real name Stephen Yaxley Lennon - is to face a retrial at a later date at London's Old Bailey.

Alan Craig, the Families and Children spokesperson for UKIP attended the court hearing. He accused authorities of ignoring Muslim grooming gangs for politically correct reasons.

Weyman Bennett, Stand up To Racism Co-Convenor, warned of a rising fascism in the UK that was using the actions of some criminals to blame the entire Muslim community.
