Trump: 'Collusion Is Not A Crime, But That Doesn't Matter'

President Trump on Tuesday tweeted about the Russia probe.

President Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday and commented in reference to special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia's interference in US elections.
"Collusion is not a crime, but that doesn't matter because there was No Collusion (except by Crooked Hillary and the Democrats)!" Trump tweeted.
Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani made a similar remark on Monday.  In an interview with Fox News' 'Fox & Friends,' Giuliani stated, "I have been sitting here looking in the federal code trying to find collusion as a crime. Collusion is not a crime."
These comments come just days after CNN reported based on inside sources that Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen is claiming the president was aware his son and other campaign officials were planning to meet with Russians about Hillary Clinton despite repeated denials that the then-candidate knew about these plans in advance.  Trump has refuted that claim and continues to deny that his campaign colluded with Russia.  He tweeted on Sunday: "There is No Collusion! The Robert Mueller Rigged Witch Hunt, headed now by 17 (increased from 13, including an Obama White House lawyer) Angry Democrats, was started by a fraudulent Dossier, paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC. Therefore, the Witch Hunt is an illegal Scam!"
