The adidas NMD's presence in the sneaker market is as strong as ever, with a stellar drop late 2015 and most recently with its primeknit and mesh drops. To commemorate its success, adidas set up the two-floor futurehouse, with urban wasteland and utopian-themed spaces to accentuate the "future" and the NMDs. Each section played its own role in storytelling, with some incorporating smoke, elaborate mirror play and even live fire. The spaces also welcomed performances by Joey Bada$$, Snakehips, and Wretch 32 with lyricist Avelino.
