“Mission: Impossible - Fallout” is starting strong at the box office, hitting $61.5 million its opening weekend.

SFgate.com reports this is the highest raw opening for a “Mission: Impossible” film.

Critics have said “Fallout” may be the best installment of the “Mission :Impossible” series, and crowds so far seem to agree.

The film has a 98% Rotten Tomatoes score, and an A on CinemaScore.
