According to Deadspin, Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Sean Newcomb lost a no-hitter with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday. After giving up a single to Dodgers shortstop Chris Taylor, Newcomb was removed from the game, but would soon go on to collect the victory following the Braves' 4-1 win. The 25-year-old Newcomb has been a pleasant surprise for Atlanta this season, recording a 3.23 ERA with 110 strikeouts in 119 2/3 innings thus far.
