This is a demonstration of a magic trick they call "The Vanishing Silk". In it, the magician takes a silk hankerchief, and pushes it into a closed fist. Upon opening his/her hand, it is seen that the hankerchief has disappeared - all with bare hands! At the magician's command, the silk hankerchief amazingly re-appears, both hands being shown empty once again.
