Powerful earthquake in Indonesia kills 10 people

A powerful earthquake has struck a popular tourist destination in Indonesia, killing at least ten people and injuring some 40 others.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude 6-point-4 quake hit the central Indonesian island of Lombok on Sunday morning.
It was followed by more than 60 smaller quakes.
Witnesses say the tremors could be felt on the nearby island of Bali.
Indonesia is prone to earthquakes due to its location on the Pacific "Ring of Fire," a seismic activity hotspot.
In 2004, a massive earthquake off Sumatra triggered a tsunami that killed 230-thousand people.
