'The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan Talks Maggie's Pregnancy

The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan addressed Maggie’s multi-season pregnancy.
According to comicbook.com, Cohan jokingly blamed the long pregnancy on the apocalypse.
“It’s somewhere between 18 and 19 years for the first trimester, so it’s good. I figured there’s not that much nutrition in the apocalypse, so you end up taking a lot longer to grow a baby. And no one can disprove this, because we haven’t had an apocalypse.”
The actress also teased that Maggie has “traded a machete for a newborn.”
“Not even a newborn. He’s a year old because we time-jumped.”
