Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp has won the race for governor of Georgia. This candidate was supported by President Donald Trump and had similar ideas as well. Opposing candidate Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle had the support of governor Nathan Deal. According to Reuters, analysts said Trump’s endorsement helped Kemp get some votes. Kemp won 69 percent of the Republican vote while Cagle won 31 percent.
