Rescue efforts yesterday morning around flood-hit villages near the town of Sanamxai in Laos after a dam burst on Monday evening - sending billions of litres of water downstream. Hundreds of people are missing after the fault at a hydroelectric Xe-Pian Xe-Namnoy dam project.
