Officials Surprised By Contents Of Newly Opened Ancient Sarcophagus

Archaeologists opened a tomb Thursday that was speculated to hold something important.
The black granite sarcophagus was discovered in Egypt earlier this month.
MNN reports some thought it could hold the remains of Alexander the Great.
Instead, it was holding raw sewage.
The 2,000-year-old sarcophagus was flooded with sewage from the roads 16 feet above.
Under the liquid was formerly-mummified skeletons of three individuals.
Officials say they believe the three were likely military leaders.
