Immigrant Children Describe Experiences At Border Facilities
  • 6 years ago
Migrant children have described first-hand accounts of being hungry, abused, and fearful at border facilities. In recent months, attorneys took declarations from hundreds of immigrant parents and children. The court filing labeled the allegations "shocking and atrocious," reports Business Insider. One girl said, "I began crying all of the time on the second and third day because I missed my mother." Mental health experts say that some "will never fully recover from the terror and humiliation."
