According to "Among Our People",... the issue over 12 North Korean restaurant workers who defected from China in 2016 must be resolved first,... saying if the defectors aren't returned,... it may affect the family reunion at Mount Geumgang,... scheduled for August 20th to the 26th.
It added the North will continue to monitor how the South deals with the issue.
The group defected to South Korea in 2016.
