A prominent U.S. politician is reportedly calling for a second summit between the leaders of North Korea and the U.S. to iron out issues related to the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
House of Representatives member Michael McCaul, who's the Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told U.S.-based Radio Free Asia last Wednesday... that he hopes the two leaders could hold a separate meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in September.
McCaul said he was rather disappointed with the outcome of U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's recent visit to Pyongyang... and said he hopes talks on the denuclearization issue could be better addressed at an international setting.
