‘The Dark Knight’ Returns to IMAX for Its 10th Anniversary “Why so serious” when it’s a time for celebration? Warner Bros. is celebrating 10 years since ‘The Dark Knight’ was released by bringing back the iconic film for one week. ‘The Dark Knight’ can be seen at four select IMAX theaters: • AMC Universal Citywalk in L.A.
• AMC Lincoln Square in NYC
• AMC Metreon in San Francisco
• Ontario Place Cinesphere in Toronto The movie will be screened
once a day. It was the first
big-budget film to use IMAX’s 70mm film to capture stunts and action scenes. The film won two Oscars. Heath Ledger also delivered an
Oscar-winning performance as the Joker. It was one of his last roles before
he passed.
