Indian superbike racer Sandesh Prasannakumar finished second in Round Two of the Thailand Superbike Championship at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, on July 15. He's riding high as he became the first Indian to bag a podium finish at the Thailand Superbike Championship, but the journey has not been smooth for Sandesh. Hailing from a middle class family in Bengaluru, Sandesh has had to fend for himself at the circuit with no sponsors coming forward to support circuit racing, which is still at a nascent stage in India. Yet, Sandesh has found a way to make it all work and in the process, keep the Indian flag flying high. In this video, the 27-year-old talks about the challenges facing the sport and how he is preparing to overcome all odds to make the country.
