According to Reuters, the Fed's chair thinks the US economy is moving forward on a clear track despite a trade dispute between Washington and Beijing.
Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell also discounted ideas that trade tensions will toss the global economy off track.
Instead, Fed chair Powell stated the US economy can look forward to several years of a strong job market, with inflation remaining close to the Fed's target of 2-percent.
