Just dug up some old footage of this beast of a dance machine Bin Ning who I used to work with on the fire act in Zaia.
One of my biggest regrets is not taking more footage of him and my main partner in crime Zhenbo Cui!
One thing working with a company like that teaches you is humility in the face of jawdroppingly awesome skills.
Sometimes I feel like it takes 20 years in an artform to appreciate your limitations and how much you will *never* be able to achieve, or even get around to attempting, especially with the fluid mixing in todays disciplines. A definitively humbling experience.
It also makes a lot of circus boring to watch after seeing the edge pushed so hard on whats physically possible. But that might be just my personal taste / boredom level!
