The U.S. might temporarily lose access to the International Space Station.
Boeing and SpaceX are unlikely to provide NASA with vehicles needed to transport astronauts to the ISS.
Starting in late 2019, the U.S. might not have a crew aboard the ISS for nearly an entire year.
Gizmodo reports that this leaves NASA’s Commercial Crew Program in jeopardy.
A plan is needed to ensure uninterrupted access to the International Space Station.
