One Remaining Store Though most of the Blockbuster stores
have closed over the years, a few have
remained scattered throughout the U.S. Until now. Alaska, who had held on to two locations, will be losing the video stores on Monday, July 16. They will reopen the following day, however, to sell off inventory through August. District Manager Kelli Vey and General Manager Kevin Daymude, via Facebook Residents of Alaska will now
have to find their movies another way. The last remaining Blockbuster store is in Oregon, according to the Anchorage Daily News.
