The magazine has slammed Sanju director Rajkumar Hirani for whitewashing Sanjay’s life. The cover story titled ‘Kirdaar, daaghdaar’ says, “Sanjay spent a jail term for possession of arms for the 1993 serial blasts. He was a drug addict and had multiple relationships”. Sanju, starring Ranbir Kapoor, has earned nearly Rs 300 crore so far. The magazine article targets Hirani.

It also questions if Sanjay has done any extraordinary work worthy of praise or if he abstained from drugs completely and become an ideal husband and actor.
