Jay Arena, the candidate of the Jobs and Equal Rights for All campaign for Essex County Executive, advocates for not awarding the contract. The county should be providing health care in its own facilities instead of padding the pockets of companies.
More importantly, the county should not be financed with blood money. The contract with ICE should be ended. Joseph DiVincenzo (Joe D.) and the Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders have the power to do so.
