This rare albino kingfisher chick has been drawing in crowds since in was born in East Coast Park, Singapore last month. Footage shows the snow-white bird being fed by its parent in front of amazed onlookers on July 3 at 2.30pm local time. Jeremiah Loei, from the wildlife group Birds, Insects N Creatures of Asia, said 30 to 50 photographers a day visit to see the chick. He added: ''I think there will be many more people who are more aware and will come down.'' White-collared kingfishers are a common sight in Singapore and Asia but albino kingfishers are particularly rare. Nature guide Subaraj Rajathurai, 55, said it was only the second time that he had heard of an albino kingfisher. He also warned against too many people flocking to see the bird as it could ''cause a lot of stress for the bird especially as it is a youngster.''
