180701-M-FA245-0001 MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII (July 1, 2018) Australian soldiers with 2nd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment; Japanese soldiers with 2nd Regiment, Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade; Philippine Marines; and U.S. Marines with 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion work together during amphibious operations on combat rubber raiding craft as part of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise on Marine Corps Base Hawaii July 1, 2018. Twenty-five nations, 46 ships, five submarines, about 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 27 to Aug. 2 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California.
