According to BuzzFeed News, the US attorney's office for the District of Columbia dismissed charges against the remaining defendants from anti-Trump demonstrations on Inauguration Day. Police arrested 234 people on January 20th, 2017, during which an estimated $100,000 in damage was caused to public and private property. But only 21 defendants pleaded guilty. A final dismissal notice was published after numerous trials ended without convictions.
